Fantasizing Reel

Deciding upon my fate

I cursed those fantasies,

The fantasies

That had been the fairytales to many.

Since I was naïve,

Glittering all my imaginations

I made the mistake

Of bringing those pages to the life of uncertainty.

Believing in the morals of closed books,

Loving makes me go high,

When I read those lines of vain

In the name of rationality.

I burnt those pages,

The reality turned down to ashes

All I was left with the smoke

And the white lies of reality.

Shattering dreams,

And broken promises

I searched for those legends

Who didn’t have any solution to this obscenity.

Now, that I am lost

In the red ink of love,

I do not find a pen

To write the lines of purity.

Oh, Lord! Save me from this deceptive world,

I am not the one who belongs here

Make me that girl,

Who is always looked upon every time I read.
