Fervent Heart That Rests Under The Sunset
Fervent Heart That Rests Under The Sunset
It's a lavish evening -
The backdrop of the Louis blue sky
Is flecked with puffy, seemingly sanguine clouds
Meadow full of daisies sway as the wind goes breezy
The glistening water in the lake nearby
Holds the bases of the lotuses protectively,
As they float and float showing off their silken magenta petals
Butterflies and bees flutter around,
Taking a seat on the cushion of the rosy flower buds for some sweet nectar
The flaxen sun emits gentle warmth like that of a mama deer.
Soon the fresh blue pigment in the sky is swapped with a lavender tint,
Clouds glide leaving silvery trails of glint
Doves and sparrows, Seagulls and cuckoos,
All take flight full of might to reach their betake as they screech hoo-hoo
The cocoa brown trunks of pine trees,
Emit tinges of golden hazel gleam
The lush sage green of the grass
Gets eroded with a navy blue hue
Walking here and there with their tiny paws,
Are adorable kittens a few?
The air becomes smoky and
the branches slightly spooky,
A flush of vermillion washes over the pavilion
The soaring sun now has a coral ring with tangerine orbs,
As it stands high up on the sky
Waiting to sink down onto the chromatic prism of the heavenly horizon,
As the slight image of the seemingly tiny half-moon
Prepares to become clear and fully appear in the gloom of the late evening soon.
As I sit by the dazzling lakeside,
The lotuses roll up and cover themselves as they close
Drifting farther and farther away in the purplish teal lake
Then finally the sun sinks down and gets its rest,
For it seems to have been posing like a model for the photoshoot of the sky all-day
Under the sensational iridescence of the dusk
My sentimental heart which was ponderous with woe before,
Seemed to have reflected upon itself and sunk down the sorrow,
Like the sun's climaxing reflection on the lake
Blazing with shades before becoming with its origin, one and the same.
That's what sunsets teach us,
To reflect , transform and preach in the buzz
Teaching us that it is good in bad and bad is good,
That there is an end to beauty and beauty to an end,
That as time passes, changes will occur in the scenery of our moments,
That no matter how much of hefty grief there is within us,
It will soon be absorbed and taken in by our spirit and our soul,
Making the dusk of life more fair, just and whole.
