I Lied To You

I lied to You,

Hiding the truth;

But tears did a crossover,

With the acting smiles.

I irritated thy so much,

Making you angry so many times;

While I actually wanted to hide,

My feelings that’ve fallen for you.

It was such a pain,

To hide behind the silent doors;

And watch you move,

Away of my reach.

I didn’t expect anything from You.

Well, that might be another lie !!

But all I wanted is You to be happy,

And stay happy all times.

Time made me dance,

On the stage of emotions;

While I tried to stay firm,

I did slip and fell many times.

On the verge of truth,

Was the heart hidden;

But the lips failed to comply,

And I ended up as a liar.

Yes, I lied to You,

But hoped You catch me;

Asked me to confess,

And spill the truth.

But it didn't happen,

Rather You believed my lie;

And I got lost in thoughts,

What happened was right or wrong !!
