I wish I never Grew Up!!

Question I ask self?

Why did I grow up?

Life was simple back then,

No selfishness,

No hurdles,

Life gets complicated often,

As we grow...

Happy as dad's little princess,

Was safe from every negative,

Innocence was a boon,

I wish!

childhood wouldn't have ended soon,

True friends and relations,

No worry on money and luxuries,

Pure was the soul back then,

I ask myself "Why did I grow up so soon?"

False expectations from society,

Pressures to fulfil unrealistic expectations,

Growing responsibilities,

Killing the childhoods innocence,

We learnt to act,

Not expected to react,

Is all this worth?

"Why did I grow up so soon?"

Life I want to Live,

Live as my heart feels,

Where my soul breathes,

Innocence of childhood,

Wisdom of being adult,

With purest of relations,

Time is magic,

Going back is no logic,

Learnt to live with it!

I wish I never grew up?
