If There's God
If There's God
I prayed, I begged, I worshipped
Yet there's no answer, no help.
The pain caused me to ask
About the words in my heart and the flowers in my hand.
Is there really a God?
If there's God why did He create death?
And death is Oh! but so random and unfair
The criminals thrive and the innocents die.
If there's God why did He create religion?
For the most religious isn't the one with highest morales.
For there are people who don't pray everyday but love humanity,
For there are people who pray everyday yet make us kill each other.
If there's God why did He create differences?
For the it is the thieves sitting on thrones of diamond and gold,
But the ones from whom it was stolen are crying even for a grain.
Maybe I would never get the answers,
Maybe I would .
Uncertain, unseen, unpredictable conundrum
We all but puppets,
About God we all argue.
