Impossible Love

I read about you and I know we are meant to be

Didn't accept it until you came in my dream

Beckoned me and we lived a life

We were together in this dream 

We lived, we loved for a while

But it all went away with time

I realised everything was a dream

My conscious howling as it did not want to believe 

How come someone so perfect and meant to be

Could only meet me once in my dream?

I open my eyes from my slumber 

Losing a love which never took form

A love so pure and gentle

I hope I meet you when I sleep now
