Journey

Time was slow, 

My heart was beating fast

Running into a hollow space,

Unknowingly, I got into a race,

Not with the world but myself,

Confusions grew like darkness at night,

There was a war, there was a fight,

I hoped to float away to a shore,

But the hopelessness grew more and more!

 I questioned how a bunch of things,

 Could be universal, work for all the beings, 

With varied thoughts and circumstances,

Different ways and forms of chances

I searched the whole sea, wherever they ought to lie 

Looked at the stars and sun for them,

Some found out in smiles,

Most of them popped up inside!

 I got answers but, no satisfaction followed,

Now I feel,

We try to understand my journey in sentences,

But no shortcut exists in life,

It's the journey, it's the feelings,

That makes us vibrant, keeps us alive!
