Life And Death
Life And Death
Life is a dance of light and vivid shades,
Death is a journey to a hidden place,
One shows the world with splendour and with glades,
While Death's black cloak obscures what life embraces.
In Life, we breathe, and pursue our goals and dreams,
We find joy, and deal with sorrow well,
But Death, a river that runs to the unknown streams,
A final scene, a quietness in the swell.
So let us live with passion and with zest,
Each day a treasure, a painting to complete,
And when our time to leave, we'll find our nest,
A part of nature's cycle, not a cheat.
Life and Death, a difference combined,
Both are needed in the grand plan of life.
