To busy to be alive
To busy to be alive
They say they're too busy to cook,
To sit with family and dine
They make their loved ones carve for them
And think of themselves as diamonds but gradually lose their shine.
They say they're are too busy to stop
As to earn more for a future at new heights
But they weigh themselves on the weight of money
Ultimately passing sleepless nights.
They say they're too busy to pick an unofficial call
And think of work as a priority to give it their all
Friendly meets seem formality to them
And they try to forget the ones who were with them whenever they used to fall.
They say they're too busy to live
To admire nature and remember god whenever they feel down
In the growing madness of being rich
They don't even bother to think whether to rejoice or to mourn
And due to ignorance when they say more lively humanoids as marks of progress,
Somewhere deep inside I fear the fact that humans are becoming more lifeless.
