Locked

The dusty old lock

Has shut the outside door. 

Life has opened its windows 

For the eyes to see more. 

When life wants us to tell a story

And expects us to listen slowly.

The feet get numb and weakened -

But the vision gets enhanced

By the green growing castle

Of fruit flowers and leaves

That has to fill up space

In front of me

Evolving, changing, renewal 

Is in process indeed 

But life has stopped for people in need. 

The songs of birds can be heard 

Replacing the song of the boy singing 

To earn his daily meet. 

The empty roads where the car ran 

Has become home for cows, cats, and dogs. 

Life seems to be less mundane

And more true

When the growing concern 

For nature is noticed by observant. 

The sky is now back to pure blue

Where the swallows dance in its hue. 

Ignorant of these

Everyone enjoying the heat 

Only awaits for an escape

From the current life's pun.
