Lonely Girl

I pretend it isn't hurting

To hide away the pain

I pretend that I'm not lonely,

And fake a smile again.

I sometimes try imagining 

What and how would it feel to be loved

Is the seeing lovers holding hands or 

Look out the bright blue sky and 

Hear the laughter between friends.

I am lonely and 

Have no place that I call home 

Or anyone whom I call loved ones 

I am just a lost soul in the world

I am just a lonely girl.
