Love for father
Love for father
In the chambers of memory lane
where my emotions reside,
Lies the tale of a father
my heart copes with
A verse unwritten, a tale yet unknown,
Let my words be the canvas on which it's shown.
Gone is the physical presence
yet his spirit remains,
In the gentle breeze
that whispers his name.
A guardian angel,
watching from afar
Coming every night
in my dreams often.
You may not be so close to me
In this lifetime
But I know u wondered only for me
All those years
Till your sudden demise
You're with me always
even though you've fled.
In the tapestry of life, you're woven deep,
An everlasting bond, I'll forever keep,
Rest in peace, dear Father, in heaven above,
Forever surrounded by your eternal love
Forgive me, I could not save you
In the depths of my soul, his spirit will live,
This unpublished poem is the tribute I give.
