Loving Yourself Is Not Vanity

As I look into the mirror, and gaze at myself,

Sitting there for hours, when I talk to myself.

Finding some moments for me, in Solitude,

It is my love for myself, And not my Attitude.

 

As I look into childhood, And recall the past of myself,

I love me more and more, With pious Lust for myself.

Loving myself is not my Vanity, It is my act of sanity,

I must love myself always, If I need to love Humanity.

 

The pimples on my Chin, The growing White Hairs,

The big groovy Moustache, Skin having those Layers.

All these signs of Experience, Why should not I love?

I want to fly in the Sky high, Just like that Purple Dove.

 

Yes Friends, Love yourselves, Before you Love Others,

Talk to yourselves, Before you Talk about the Others.

Spend Moments with you, before you meet others,

Admire your own Beauty, Before you gaze at Others.

 

One who does not do self love, Never can love Thou,

One who does not know himself, Never can he Grow.

Love yourself, Believe Yourself, Live with Yourself,

It is none but the Oneself, From whom one gets Help.

 

Listen to everybody you like, But do at your might,

It is your confidence only, That can take you to right.

God also loves them, Who love their own Soul,

It is only you in life, Who can reach your own Goal.

 

So Love yourself, Admire Yourself, Respect Yourself,

Whatever is the age, accept it, It be sixty or Twelve.

Adjust yourself with the tune of time, Take your lead,

Read yourself first, Before you Let others to Read.
