Lumpy Lily’s Day Out

Lumpy Lily lolled up to the bench on the beach

She stuck to the bench like a leech,

The birds listened to her woes 

As her cat nibbled her toes;

Lily bought ice cream,

Which made her scream

It was icy cold!

The ice cream was sold,

And Lily got some gold.

 

Lumpy Lily took around

Of the ground,

To her surprise, running behind her was a dog;

She jumped over the frog,

And hit the rod

Lumpy Lily screeched;

And never returned to the beach……..
