Welcome Home Covid

After days of waiting, we finally got corona,

There was tension in the air but, the heart said darona.

We went to the doctor who prescribed us medicine.

We popped them in as if they were a sin.

We lost our smell and taste,

Ate whatever came on the plate with a bit of haste.

We have to spend the next 14 days in quarantine,

Without a drop of whiskey or wine.

Finally, after the 14 days of vanvas,

Realised we were all negative and covid was a big backwas.
