They die for our nation leaving us safe,
A permanent leave from mother Earth they take.
They tell their mothers they'll come home soon,
Their wives who wait for that Karva Chauth moon.
When she finds out that her son's death,
When his wife's Bangles are shattered.
They mourn for their beloved who's no longer alive,
But remember how long for his nation he thrived.
Our head with pride is raised for that soldier,
Who worked with others shoulder to shoulder.
