Melting moon

Blue-bright eyes! I have been in love with you for ages and ages,

white hills and bare mountains, 

for often I outpour my melody for you,

in farthest lands and across the oceans,

to find you, to embrace you at my inward door 

and your impeccant smile and mellifluous voice 

still, I hear on the naked seashore 

To keep you safe in my eyes like a face of God in heaven 

and to love you again and again in sulking hours like the inebriated river in the heart of the ocean, 

and to see you before my dripping eyes 

and to create lovely poems on your snowy beauty, 

and to flow like blood into your lovesick veins,

such is your plentiful love which has made me ineffable 

How can I tell you, dainty moon, how I could meet you,

embrace you, melt into you, love you as the sea loves you, still and calm

on the bare shore

one kiss more 

and make my love immortal 

ever and forever
