Winter-flowing Moon
Winter-flowing Moon
The winter-flowing moon is amorous tonight
Plentiful though besprent upon the soaring sea,
Redundant in entrancing night, between the earth and sky.
Half of the night is passed, short sighs and aching fire in the moonflower,
The crystalline rain-drops stir, bountiful is the hour,
Boundless ocean that is tangerine like the temperate heat, falling moments and palpitating beat
A flash of lightning in the violet-tinted sea, a glare like a blue flower,
And love more palpable than the edge of rapier, slashing the thick thorn,
Flows of starving river, recondite sea, and sulking fire, in the wintry time of the year.
Ebbs and flows, the soul of the ocean quivers
There is effervescent love, all living and all dying,
This is the sempiternal time, the moon is stonkered tonight.
Now the moon is blossoming and calm, around the starry night, the sea is booming, and love is in the pastel hour.
Where is the red rose now, primordial time
Perennial hour ....
