My High School Days

Morning alarm sets the day;

Warning everyone to follow their way

The whole day is such a rush,

All are busy with their books and stuff;

Friends are like warm, bright rays

To add a little colour to our weary days

The teacher's lectures are too boring;

Hence, all the students fail in scoring

Geography deals with towns, cities and ports,

In history class, students are busy copying the notes

English is all about stories and imagination;

Which, the psycho class deliberately crushes with its beliefs and notions

After school, it is mandatory to attend tuition

Why then, the parents can't understand our situation?

This is the last year of our high school life,

After that, we will only have memories to highlight

All our marks and results-we can easily regain;

But, our bittersweet high school days will never come back to us again!!
