Olympic Winner

Standing and waiting for the final race to begin,

I am getting quite nervous,

Am I going to win?

Crouching down , low, I waited for the gun,

Bang! there it goes,

We're starting to run.........

My heart is pounding; I'm going to burst,

Come on legs keep going,

I want to come first.......

The race is all most over,

There are medals to be won,

Everyone is after the gold,

Ad it shines as bright as the sun..........

The last step over the finish line,

Am I first, last, where am I,

What's my time?

I stand on the podium, proud and bold,

I am wearing a my medal,

An Olympic gold...........
