One of the Faces of Death...
One of the Faces of Death...
One by one we're counting trees in the sky,
Drifting in mucky water we both lie.
Ravens fly between bats in the luminous sky,
My white cutters are painted all over his eye.
I close my eyes,
and for a second all the noise in the world stops.
I take a breath,
and for a second all the light around me swells.
Tangerine clouds in a sky painted with light blue,
Like the blue of your eyes in the skin I call mine.
Drowns to a rusty drink in a world of grey hue,
Beige and olive are the best you get at a shrine.
