“One Thing”

If you get a chance to make one thing right,

What will first come to your sight?

Will it be a long lost relationship?

Or will that be a miserable friendship?

Will you try to chase your dreams this time?

Or will you correct your mistakes of a lifetime,

Will you choose a different profession?

Or will you simply control your aggression?

Will you wish not to say those words, which pain?

Or will you apologize just to do that again,

Do you wish for such wish to come true,

You want to live again, isn't that true?

Wonder what will happen if you get that wish,

Won't you take steps this time with risk?

You will wish and wish forever,

To make it perfect, aren't you clever?

What will you do with a perfect bright life?

Won't it be boring just to be alright,

You won't be happy, you won't be sad,

You won't be excited, you won't be mad,

There are things you wish wouldn't have occurred,

Everybody does, what's new that emerged,

It might be late to make everything right,

But think, does that one thing still worth a fight.
