People n Time

Two-sided and two-faced 

People can be for sure.

Here in search of creating 

Memories instead of passing days

But it doesn't seem possible.

People and time flies over us

But leave their marks behind.

It's uncanny how it all makes 

The strangeness of ordinary 

Seem not so peculiar these days.

We all lost someone important 

And we also know the fact that

People we know may not be the same

Nor will the time spent together 

We found truth in the lies told.

As this year went by 

So did the moments 

Some were filled with laughter 

And the rest with sadness

Anger and betrayal follow.

The moments we were creating 

Somehow are left incomplete 

This chapter of life closes 

But so does a new one opens 

As I am holding into your hands.

I know it won't be so easy 

However, I'll still hold on

Into you with my full beliefs 

As I count on you so much 

More than I care about the difficulties.
