Through It All

Note: This is written with no proper interest towards someone, just got a dare to write a love poem by my friends because I hate the idea of being in love. So, here I am writing this poem as I was told to. 😮‍💨

When I look into your eyes 

I need a moment to myself 

Just to keep it cool 

Cause I was lost 

In the melody within.

My dear your presence 

Is so important to me

That I'm convinced 

That it's only you 

Who can make me do backflips.

I'm so sure that if 

I hadn't met you 

I would feel something 

Like missing pieces 

Of a beautiful time.

I have a confession to make 

Probably just too shy 

To convey in reality 

But now you are at 

My world of control.

Whenever our eyes meet

I get lost in a world so sweet.

Would love to have courage 

To confess to you 

But would just flinch away.

The both of us are very aware 

That a love like us is rare 

Bounded with restrictions 

But never failed an attempt 

To make each other smile.

Oof your smile is like a drug

So addictive yet sweet 

And life needs a lil sweetness.

I fell for your smile n soul

And so did you my love.

Do you feel the pull 

Towards one another?

Feeling the magical 

In the very ordinary 

As I look deep into you.

We may move apart

But could never forget 

Our love is powerful 

And will surely 

Endure through it all.
