Pink Dress

The church was filled with the aroma of ecstasy

When the groom entered the church with a grin like a Cheshire cat.

When they divulged the name of the beautiful bride,

Smiling faces suddenly turned into turbulence.

 A beautiful 16 months sprog in a pink wedding dress,

Walked in with beguiling flowers in her little meathook.

Everyone got bowled over as they were unaware of the status quo,

Sundry questions are jiggling in their mind at the present time.

Tears were rolling down his cheeks,

When the man took the sprog on his lap.

And made an announced which numbed the guests for a moment,

He is going to marry his daughter sprog today.

He fulfilled the promise of seeing his daughter's wedding,

Which he made when she first touched the earth.

He celebrated this big day with great ebullience.

The gloomy air circumambient us,

When all came to know that little soul gonna bid painful goodbye after two days,

As she was diagnosed with a fatal brain tumour.

 When the news spread from far-flung,

Left everyone heartbroken forever.
