Our tears

Our scars

A long-silenced voice

Neglected pain

Long buried grief

Love, hate and lies

Anxiety, vulnerability and insecurity

Everything is warmly welcomed by poetry

We portray everything in poetry perfectly, metaphorically, exquisitely 

O! Nothing is more addictive than poetry

For the way poetry makes us feel heard and seen

Only in poetry can we be who we want to be

Whereas the world and people want us to be the best for them, for their benefit and their satisfaction

Only in poetry can we draw ourselves the way we want to be drawn

In poetry, we have privileges for ourselves

Yet the beauty of poetry can be varied

Just like us in reality 

Measured, assessed, estimated and standardized

For not all readers are aware of the purpose of poetry

For not all readers can dig into the veracity of poetry

O! Nothing crazier than poetry

We speak loud, we talk a lot,

but never too much-- never too much 

There will always be a way to pour out

Lies will not be sins on the face of poetry

We write about the love we won and the love we lost

Only in poetry can we cage everything that is hard for us to conquer and tame in reality

In poetry we even write about the bridges we build but collapse

We write about broken wings and lost light

Everything is worthy of poetry!

Everything is acceptable in poetry!

If poetry is the world, then let me live there, 

if that makes any sense

But in poetry, we are not looking for something to make sense 

We only become what we want

Not looking for it, yet we discover it
