Can you tell me?

All of a sudden, 

Why the words don't come to me today?

Poetry!

Where are you hiding? 

Why do you elude me today? 

Who has captured your attention? 

Who has stolen you away?

Poetry! 

I adorned you in rhyme with a wreath of words… 

But If those words don’t come, 

I will lose my dreams too. 

Maybe the words are upset, 

Maybe they are hurt, 

Maybe they will forgive me and return to you.

Poetry! 

You are my muse and my lover, 

But now you are silent and distant, 

You leave me cold and in despair.

Poetry! 

I beg you to come back to me, 

Don’t let me drown in this sea of sorrow. 

Let me hear your voice again.
