Red Moana

Far apart from the human vision, 

There's a deep flowing sea,

No, no this is not an ordinary sea,

It's very special my dear, 

The ‘Red Moana’.

As soon as we hear RED,

There is plethora of stress,

Bubble of worries,

Floating in our veins,

Like octopus has fastened our blain.

Only specific gender can dive into it.

As if we are meant to do this,

We are only lifeguards, 

& we are only drowning, 

Confused what's going? 

We call this by varied names,

‘Special Day’, ‘Birthday’, ‘Aunt Day’,

Gosh, You can't imagine,

It's far from your itsy-bitsy heads,

Because it's the “Periods”.

The silent bane ruling our body, 

The odd behavior commanding our routine, 

The society norms increasing our difficulties,

The damn thinking troubling us more than anything,

In great dilemma what to do & whatnot.

It comes with tension,

Goes with confusion,

Making us think why it's so important,

Pain has its own reason, 

& Sufferer has its own motive. 

At the end we are survivors,

Overcoming the obstacles, 

Defeating the problems, 

Winning our battles, 

Soon will break the untouchable wall.
