Red

Wrapped in an elegant red,

Dyed with souls she has bled.

Scars so perfectly framed,

For each battle she has led.

Faces world cold as ice,

Unknown her bed of lies.

Crown a feather to rise,

To lead only the wise.

Magnificent as forest fire,

Blazing to kill a desire.

Head risen to inspire,

Bows only to admire.

Eyes reminiscing of hell,

Drier than a fake farewell.

Years of pain none can tell,

Darker than the soul less well.

Shallow swimmers drown,

Killed before reaching dawn.

Heart that feels everything around,

Deeper than your ego on the ground.

Veins that bear the whole universe,

Carry the moon's woeful curse.

Cries for darkness to shine like pearls,

They yearn for stardust to immerse.
