Sailors

SAILORS

 

When they leave their home shores, their chances of returning are not bright.

Thousands have perished before their time, but the love for oceans is still dignified.

On those wooden vessels, not a soul fears, as the zeal is better than just alright.

They sail valiantly in all directions, as though there every move is justified.

Oceans are so misguiding so terrifying, yet they proclaim their real delight.

Is it the challenge of sailing over, or they want to reach what was earlier nullified.

Over the ship's mast, they all stand together and disregard the needs of daylight.   

But sometimes cataclysm sinks their ship down, and then nothing is meant to be glorified.

But whenever they find a virgin land, a new chapter of maps comes into our sight.

And if they build homes on that land, a new nation of future history is identified.
