She Taught Me How To Sin
She Taught Me How To Sin
SHE Taught Me How To SIN
This' a story that I hate to tell
But I want all girls to learn.
How I met a girl early last year,
One I wish I never met.
A life of glitz was what she led
She rose her head above her peers
I badly want to be her friend..
So she taught me how to Sin.
.
She led me to the first guy
The one that stole my pride.
She taught me not to act shy
And look my lover's eyes.
I also learnt to tell lies
And make black seem as white.
These things I did were not right
But she taught me how to sin.
.
She hooked me up with her friends,
Her friends became my friends.
So I joined the clique of 'big girls'
But silently I bled
I went against my own self
To prove I belonged there
My life became a big mess
Cos she taught me how to Sin
.
She taught me how to drink beer
And how to smoke cigarettes
She said I wouldn't feel scared
And they'll help me do and dare
But soon I lost my innocence
As I stabbed a young man dead
My life became a pile of wreck
Since she taught me how to Sin.
.
I watched my mother slumped to death
While Daddy drown in tears
As he fathom how his 'precious gem'
Will spend her life In cell..
I write this dirge behind a cell
With life that's like a broken egg
Only because I met a friend
Who taught me how to Sin
.
I'm a sackless girl who's got bad friends
That means I'm just like them
My blooming life embraced it's end
Cos I wrongly chose my peers
I'm a compendium of wasted years
Who'd daily eat her tears as bread
Only because I chose a friend..
Who taught me how to Sin.
