SUMMER
SUMMER
White-dust and the yellow-weeds,
Bare-skinned thorn-trees,
Broken-fences, marooned-tin and brick shacks,
lay scattered-bleakly, more nude under the empty elysian-fields.
Disappearing in the reeking-hearts of bazaar,
solid and suffocating as sleep.
Coude see, queues overflowing at a stall,
where, sanguine-hued 'sharbat' in telluric-jars ,topped with lemons is served.
Flies peregrinated across the skyscraper of crystallized-fruits.
Apis-mellifera traipsing along the frond of quince.
Famished-clochard grins at the Mangifera-Indica, like a cheshire-cat.
Handkerchiefs heaped in brobdingnagian-mounds at the pavement.
Flowing-gutter, across the murky-boulevard,
Side-glances of the people micturating, at the sooty-doorway.
Hushing the loud-crackling, made by the sheets,
Fanning the incinerating Helios'gaze.
Cloves of saudade,
Of quaffing gelid-koolfi,
Of bedewing along the ponderous-brooks;
slithered down the temples.
Creases on the forehead shrivelled in arid-palpitations.
Flakes of perspiration broke out on his upper lips, glistening.
Laboured-sound of his breath,
snarled at his throat, with some catarrh.
His wrinkled-eyelid drooped,
ached his tachycardiac-auricle-ventricle;
descrying for penumbral-shards.
