Dear Diary George,

In these days of quarantine, I realize that everyone around is complaining and whining. In a time like this, I am reminded of someone .....

For her, everything is a blessing,

Maybe that is because she doesn't value any materialistic things,

Her Lord is her guide, savior, and king,

In His praise, her soul day and night sing.

The weather is too hot!

"Everything has a shadow, so don't let your mood rot,

There is a lot to be thankful about: the shade of trees, Kharif crops and most importantly, the earthen pot,

Don't sulk at the heated ball, by the end of the year it's his help that you'll love to seek.

There is a deadly disease,

Due to it, our movement is freeze(d),

" As there is less traffic, the quality of air is on an increase,

The sweet chirps can be heard every whereas mother earth heals with ease."

There are many a cruel soul,

Who often misuse the kind one's role,

"Oh ! its due to them, kindness has carved its hole,

Lord will do justice at the right time to do good, my dear innocent soul."

George, you might have realized that she is a stoic,

At the time when the world gave her a kick she said,

" Smile not cry when problem befalls, that will do the trick,

There is something of great value in everything, be it an ornament or a stick."

Nanny, on colloguing with you I remember what my teacher once said, "Golden words of life are sorry and thank you".

I now realize that it's all so true.

Being grateful at all times is a treasure owned by a few.

Those who aren't grateful be it here or high above, are left to rue.
