Sunshine

Golden rays of light, streaming down from the sky,

The sunshine brings life, to everything that is nigh.

It warms the earth, and chases away the cold,

And wraps the world, in a mantle of gold.

With its gentle touch, it lifts our spirits high,

And fills us with joy, as we bask in its light.

It brings a smile, to the face of the sad,

And lends us hope, when life seems so bad.

Sunshine is a gift, that we cherish with pride,

A symbol of life, that can never be denied.

It shines on the rich, and shines on the poor,

And gives to all, an equal measure of its store.

So when the skies are clear, and the sun shines bright,
