That Earthly Night

The night was calm,

the slumber deep,

my mind qualm,

someone shook me with a beep.

Her tears; the culprits of her sunken face,

a meekness in her eyes,

As someone was at her to chase,

her face was in despise.

Suddenly she started away,

You are the force who dried my water away,

You made me choke till my death and kept pollution on my way,

You killed my lovely creatures and made them extinct,

You blew the axe on your feet and brought your life away on the brink.

Regretting now won't help,

You made this abode of love into hell.

I see the future of tomorrow,

carcasses afloat on the water with tears of sorrow.

Oceans flooding, sun scorching,

glaciers melting, temperatures rising.

Then Mother Earth would not save you,

as I would be saying you all adieu.
