That Snowdrop
That Snowdrop
The long life way curves under my feet,
I stand in the mid, wondering the end of this long street.
Glancing behind I can see, the decors of memories illuminating my past;
Radiant blissful moments that disappeared too fast...
A sorrowful smile creeps on my face,
The collection of moment stream in the mind recounting the life’s pace.
How briskly the time melted away;
Yesterday was a warm delightful morning, but the sun glows fiercely today...
Roses were withered; leaves left their abodes in sorrow;
Hopeful eyes search plaintively for a better tomorrow...
The passage ahead is plunged into ethereal darkness of unknown,
I stand in the mid, waiting the impending story alone.
A new beginning, awaits at every end;
A new tale waits eagerly to be penned...
Memory of that snowdrop from what has ended long ago,
Still guide my footsteps across the fresh snow.
The impregnable wheel of life never stops,
I follow its trail with the memory my radiant snowdrop…
