The Best Shade Of Love

Visuals flashed on the screen,

All day long of the mourning kin.

Incredible valour the martyrs had shown,

Such dedication for motherland was unheard and unknown.

Heena on the hands of the bride was still bright red,

All made way for the newly wed.

Looking admiringly at her martyred husband's body, she silently stood,

Instead of crying, lovingly the body clad in tricolour she looked.

Dearly he loved his motherland,more than me, I know,

Uttering this,the tears in her eyes glistened to glow.

Beauty of love lies in its myriad shades,

Every colour, shines bright with nothing to evade,

Yet, one shade stands out amongst all, love of motherland never to fade.
