The Crescent Moon

Have you ever looked out of your window to see the crescent moon?

It’s so charmingly imperfect that it is even shown in cartoons!

Just look at the way it shines, glimmers and glows

It soon will be a perfect piece of art- it knows!

Even though the crescent moon has been left behind by its other part

It doesn’t let that bring it down and radiates light for the ones miles apart.

A crescent moon shows that life is not to be enjoyed at once, but in pieces

As time goes by, the size of the moon also increases.

A crescent moon shows that a small part of us will always shine through the gloom

We will always have that one part- even though the pain and doom.

It shows us that we should always begin with a smile

Always remain confident, because achieving the goal may take a while.
