The Diary

"I'm overwhelmed, no words could describe the happiness I felt after getting this diary...Yes no other gift made me this happy, it was so thoughtful of you Rudra to think about giving it to me...

The initial memory I've of us is me drinking and feeling drowsy...I remember how hard I was trying to not rest my head on your shoulder and you saying- "Keep it, I won't mind" in a casual tone...

And I responded *No thanks!* in all my attitude..

Then how I was shivering in cold and you stealing a gaze again may be feeling bad about it and offering me a puff of cigarette ...We were walking and going up for that temple situated 1600 feet above ground.. and how you asked me if I'd want to accompany you to that uphill and I nodded yes.

We went there holding hands and then you telling me that you'd have kissed by now if you had your girlfriend with you....I didn't say a word because...well I didn't feel like responding. I was enjoying the view, the shiver and that moment, I wish I could tell you how much I liked you and how bad I feel to know that you can never be mine " - wrote Isha in a diary given to her by her crush Rudra as a farewell gift and she started using it to pen down every moment she had spent with him.

The gift which he thought would be the ending of their companionship turned out to be a new beginning for Isha, it was indeed a beginning as she got to know she can express herself through writing when she had no one to talk to.
