The Man In The Moon

The man in the moon, an avuncular guide,

Eradicating darkness, imparting light so bright,

His pleasant presence, a tranquilising balm,

Disseminating love, caring like a charm.

Feasting eyes over us, with a tutelary care,

He is a beacon of hope in the murkiness of fear,

Cinching we are safe and we are sound,

In his alleviating embrace, we are perpetually bound.

Coddling like a father, an encouragement he provides,

His warmth and light, a Pharos that guides,

With eyes so bright and smile so wide,

He perceives the secrets, all that we hide.

The man in the moon, an emblem of grace,

An insignia of hope, we wish to embrace,

And even in our darkest moment, we look up at his glittering face,

To explore the courage, to conquer new space.

So let us wallow in his luminous gleam,

And let his love and light continue to stream,

For the man in the moon is incessantly near,
