The Moon And The Night

Sometimes when I'm having a bad day I close my eyes and imagine that I was the Moon 

And you were the night 

 So we can always be together 

And it would give me the courage and the strength to live the day 

Because I know I only have to endure a little while 

Until I get to be free with you once more 

 My Knight in Shining Armour

And I love that

 I would never be bored with you

 Because there would be so many things we would have to talk about 

So many jokes 

So much laughter 

And best of all 

 No more ocean eyes 

 Not a drop of rain would fall 

From my face when you are around me my darling

And all I can see is the constellations that you bring to me

 And who knew that the moon could have a heart 

Just to adore and admire the night
