The Phoenix
The Phoenix
To the mothers who've raised
To the daughters who've raged &
To the women who've dared to rise again---
I got your back.
They've named us witches, peerless & bitches
They've burned us in a Brutish way
But I shall forecast,
From the ashes, we will rise again, like always
We will become
From the ashes we will become
Just like the Phoenix,
We shall rise again.
To the mothers, with their feet rooted to the ground
To the daughters, with their nose pointed towards the sky &
To the girls, with nerves big enough to raise their powerful yet shaking voices---
I got your back.
With several and Brutish ways,
They have tried to burn us down.
But we shall become again
We shall become somebodies.
From the ashes we will become
Just like the Phoenix,
We shall rise again.
You are the flowing wind coming from paradise, for you are the gates of the soul.
But you are also the burning flames of hell fire.
For you are a Phoenix & the Phoenix does not fear the flames---
They rise from them.
From the ashes we will become
Just like the Phoenix,
We will rise again.
