The Renovation
The Renovation
One bright sunny day,
I was feeling miserable and perplexed,
So I sat on my car, to find a place
Which was
Away from the monotonous lifestyle and the avaricious people,
From the awfully busy roads where accidents often occur
From the lack of creativity that make us suffer.
Across the tall buildings I drove
To find a place which can rise new hopes.
I went on and on across hills, valleys and plains,
Finally to a place which revived my soul at the first glance.
The peace over there soothed my mind
The greenery stretched far and wide
The gurgle of the river united my shattered dreams to whole
The gentle breeze reminded me of my goal.
It was the life boat to save my drowning ship of life,
It renewed my hopes and beliefs.
Then suddenly I felt a loving touch on my head,
Opened my eyes to find myself on bed!
Then I remembered I was taking a nap,
And the wonderland I had reached was my mother's lap!
