The Surrender
The Surrender
And when the Raven moon fell
Through the astronomical sky
He stood above his ground
Unshaken and unbeaten
Young and old alike
Kneeled to their destiny
For he was not just another man
But born out of the creed deprived
Thus when I heal the wounds
I see a prayer written above my eyes
A prayer of 1000 words
Which he wrote
In those times filled with tension
I see a painting of a human
In him, from him
Of the dagger
From within him
And then the juggling starts
With the beating of drums
And the pounding of hearts
For he is cremated
Cremated for he was
Standing for what is right
But he died a silent death
Determining the right from left
