Time
Time
The clock on the wall ticks,
As I watch it.
I wonder what will happen,
If I ever tried to stop it.
Will the world stop?
Will the birds flapping its wings freeze?
Will the poor labour who hasn't rested get a moment of relief?
Will the rich get to pay for their sins?
Will the world be at peace?
Will there be no more sins?
Will we realize how cruel we have been?
Will we realize we all are human beings?
Such thought wanders in my head
In this empty void of space, the clock hangs
The needle makes a noise of tick tick tick
Being subtle while it does its thing
Everything is halted and the clock hangs on the wall.
But somehow time moves ahead.
I wonder what will happen
If the world stopped
Will the clock stop ticking?
Will the time freeze?
