To My Parents

Dedicated to my Parents.....

Two lovely souls born in two distinct places,

Unaware they had to some day unite,

They resided in the two ends of the same street,

Unaware their fortunes will someday meet.

They were engrossed in their own childhood,

Unaware they had their mates in their own neighbourhood.

Ventured the streets and wandered around the place,

Not even at once, to each other they gaze.

The most cherishable obedient were they,

Didn't believe in teen love nor in fancies,

They made sure they didn't deviate or astray,

For they were meant to meet one day ..
