To My Sissy
To My Sissy
MY LOVELY SISTER,
I still remember the day; when a new soul was born,
Saddened others; thus became a reason to scorn.
There she joined her sibling's chain, as the new third pearl,
Led her sisters to celebrate as she too was a girl.
She, A tiny flower grew in our garden,
Emerged as mercy; over the lives rotten.
There she spreads her fragrance, in the dark twinkling night,
Shadowed the darkness, with her glistening bright light.
I know we’ll stay together only for a while,
And hope to create memories that count mile,
Though we recreate & rejuvenate moments where we dwell,
I know we’ll soon have to bid farewell.
She was a friend more than a sister,
Sometimes she vexantes me as a sinister,
We club and share joy yet together we grieve,
Will she not cry over my leave?
