Tug Of War
Tug Of War
If the tenderness of the heart could understand the strength of the mind
That mind is not your enemy , its your defender
Yet you pick and cut your own guard , the voice of reason and hope
The fragility of the heart is no joke, the cracks of the mirror how delicate it maybe , it hurts, it scars, it wounds your mortality
The mind cannot help you if you only choose your heart
What we forget in the darkness , we only hear the murmurs of the heart , so we get a little lost
When we are in the light , we only hear the whispers of the mind so we become a machine
The heart and the mind , the balance of both is the balance of life.
Yet knowing this truth cannot save my fate , I have already lost my heart and my mind , I have non to listen to
So what becomes of me I wonder
What becomes of me , I wonder.
