Why do you plead?

Aching scars and opaque looks

the dangling hooks.

Why do you dither 

at muted calls?

How do you soar

with galling falls?

Is it your strength 

Or the love Platonic?

Keeps you alive 

With a tonic tectonic.

Give Up! Discard!

Loatheful traditions.

You are a mortal 

and not a magician.

Vent up my voice.

My body is scarred but

Cold soul to be advised.

Ask it to be forgetful-

Of waning memories, 

Though they're pleasant but

With abounding blemishes. 

Could you recall your real self?
