Virtual Quest

A life that cannot be exchanged,

Bestowing comfort, a chance to be oneself.

A life of happiness and pleasure,

Yet, it exists within the virtual tether.

The accomplishments and joys you feel,

Success in missions, communication's zeal.

A family formed with an understanding partner,

Yet, beneath it all, just a game, no matter.

A fool, introverted in nature,

Finding joy in the virtual is a unique feature.

Questioning myself till the day is long,

Can this continue, where do I belong?

I know I can differentiate, but still,

Those virtual words embrace me with skill.

I pose the same question to you,

In the virtual happiness, is reality true?

The family you've made, a digital creation,

If it transcends into reality, a revelation.

Will you accept, or like the rest, abandon?

To my partner in the game, I delve my heart.

Will you reciprocate in the real world?

Embrace me or let our connection unfurl?

In this realm where the real sometimes breaks,

Will you stand by me, or our bond be forsaken?
